Kamenjak Adventure begins from the meeting point, the gas station – Petrol @Banjole where your guide will lead you straight to the area of the significant landscape of Upper Kamenjak situated between Volme and Premantura.
Once in the Kamenjak the real FUN starts, you will ride on the gravel road up to the top of the hill where you will have the opportunity to explore the interior of a military bunker and enjoy breathtaking views of Pomer’s bay, the rugged coastline of Kamenjak peninsula.
Shortly after entering the significant landscape of Lower Kamenjak, you will start following the path of the dinosaurs that will lead you to the shore where a large number of fossils can be found.
Afterward, near the Polje cove, you will visit an Istrian farm where you can still feel the spirit of old times and see lots of domestic animals and authentic Istrian long-horned cattle – Boškarin.
On our to the most southernmost part of Kamenjak peninsula – Kolombarice cliffs, you will enjoy the incredible beauty of the untouchable nature of Lower Kamenjak. Following winding tracks between a pine forest and the sea, there’s beach after beach, hidden in the small pebbly coves and enclosed by natural stone terraces all the way to the unique and extraordinary – Safari bar, where you will take a break.
Once you get off the bikes, you can spend your leisure time exploring the area or relaxing in shade before taking lunch in the legendary Safari bar that looks like it came from a fairy tale, situated just above the beach where you can enjoy the fantastic view of Fenoliga Island and Porer lighthouse.
After the break, you will continue cycling along the gravel paths that stretch into the most intimate parts of Cape Kamenjak coming out to the peninsula eastern coast and the beautiful pebbly cove with islands in front from where you will start your kayak adventure.
Your guide will lead you along the scenic coast to explore beautiful coves and the nearby islands where we will make few stops for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear sea as well as to enjoy the incredible view of the cape and its natural stone terraces.
For more experienced and durable ones we will continue kayaking to the Kolombarice cliffs, where we will stow our kayaks and your guide will take you on a short swim to explore the amazing underwater cave where the sun’s rays penetrating through an opening at the top of the cave, reflected in the interior, and create captivating blueish light effects. The cave was home to the departed Mediterranean monk seal (one of the most endangered mammals in the world).
